Baseball Player News: Xavier Nady (1B/OF), NYM

News: Xavier Nady, who has been sidelined after having an appendectomy, played in the outfield in extended spring training Tuesday and will begin a short rehab stint at Triple-A Norfolk this weekend.

Views: After 2-3 games, he is expected to be activated for the Cincinnati series on Tuesday.

I wonder if this means a demotion for lastings milledge-- he is definitely in willie's doghouse after not running hard in last night' game

I think he'll be sent down. You want the kid to be playing every day, so AAA might be the best place.
