Baseball Player News: John Thomson (SP), ATL

News: The Atlanta Braves placed John Thomson on the 15-day DL, retroactive to June 15th, with a blister on his finger.
Views: Thomson should be ready to go at the end of his DL stint. Lance Cormier was called up in his place and is going to start in place of Horacio Ramirez on Saturday. If Ramirez isn't able to go on Thomson's next turn, the Braves may call up prospect Chuck James for the start. |
