Baseball Player News: Chris Capuano (SP), MIL
By: Jeff Brown

News: Chris Capuano struck out a career-high 12 batters Friday night, while allowing two runs over seven innings, in the Brewers' 6-4 win over the Indians.

Views: Capuano improved to 7-4 as he allowed six hits without a walk on 109 pitches. He has had a quality start in every game except one this season.

I was wrong about him before the season -- this guy's money.

He's quickly emerging as an legitimate ace and if you've never seen him pick off a runner, you're missing baseball beauty.

yes... he has definitely been rock solid for me and has bailed me out big time with the loss of bartolo colon so early in the season

let's just see if he can keep it up for the entire season, but the 12 strikeouts were awesome last night to go with the solid outing

I took this guy at the begining, hes been on all season, and has really stepped up in a big place for the Brewers and my team, he's going places.

Yeah, I thought Davis would get Capuano's run support this year and show that he's the better pitcher.

Um, no.

Or at least get strikeouts and pitch well.
