News: Loretta was 3-for-3 with an RBI in Saturday's 6-5 win over the Philadelphia Phillies. This was his third three-hit game in his past four starts.
Views: Loretta has put an early-season slump behind him to do exactly what we expected of him: hit for a high average while adding very little in the power and speed categories. On a team like the Red Sox, he's still extremely valuable, as he'll often have someone on in front of him and has plenty of help behind him in the order. Loretta raised his average to .313 with the performance. |
