News: Hardy elected to have season-ending surgery to repair tendonitis in his ankle. The injury has kept him out of the lineup since mid-May.
Views: Hardy had looked like he was piecing it all togther offensively before the injury occurred. Chalk him up as a nice sleeper for next season, but drop him if you were still holding out for a possible return.

Anyone think Hardy's got a chance anymore? He's now essentially missed 2 of the last 3 years. Personally, I think he'll only hold down the job until Alcides Escobar makes it up.
