News: Ramirez homered twice off of Nationals' starter Livan Hernandez for his second straight multi-homer game. With two innings left to play, Ramirez is now 6-for-12 with 5 homers in his past three games.
Views: Despite the slow start, it was all just a matter of time before Aramis started tattooing the ball. He's now pushed his homer total to 21 on the year, while he's bumped his average up to .266 with his recent hot streak. There's still some work to be done to match his consecutive .300/30 homer seasons in 2004 and 2005, but Ramirez looks like he's well on his way to at least challenging to do so.
Those two homers were against Livan Hernandez. Take it for what it's worth.

That's true...but just looking at his numbers, despite the runs scored not being there he is top 10 in RBI by 3B and tied for 2nd in homers, and climbing...
