News: Fasano was traded from Philly to the Yankees on Wednesday in exchange for minor league 2b Hector Made.
Views: There's nothing major to talk about on either side of this deal. Fasano gives the Yanks another catching option to spell Jorge Posada from time to time. Backup catcher Kelly Stinnett was designated for assignment to complete the deal.

He had quite the fan base here in Philly. You know Philly has the fan groups for players? Well Sal had Sal's Pals, who all had fake staches and the hair look a like. Anyhow, Sal bought them pizza after one game and then more and more fans liked Sal. He became a cult hero here really, and they traded him away.
