Baseball Player News: Chase Utley (2b), PHI

News: Utley extended his hitting streak to an MLB season-best 26 games as he went 2-for-5 with his nineteenth homer of the season in Wednesday's 6-4 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks. Utley, who hadn't homered since July 2 until Tuesday, has now homered three times in the past two nights.
Views:Furthermore, next season's top second base option (Soriano's still there for this year) has raised his average to .321 in the process. Utley's bound to hit a dry night some time in the near future, but there's no excuse for taking him out of your lineup regardless. |

Now at 27 games. The fact that hes my 2nd baseman in my main league makes it so much sweeter.
Does anyone think he tops Rollins' streak?  |

it could happen.... I wish that the media didn't make such big deals about these streaks. puts too much pressure on the players when they are only halfway to the record. |
