News: Ned Yost was true to his word, allowing Turnbow to try and close out Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Reds despite the addition of Francisco Cordero over the weekend. However, Turnbow's nightmare July continued, as he allowed a homer and a pair of walks before having to be replaced by Cordero.
Views: Maybe Yost gives him one more shot, but I doubt that he'll feel too comfortable going much beyond that. Cordero was a quality young closer the past couple of years himself, and could step right in to give the Brewers someone capable of shutting the door.... Turnbow sure doesn't look capable lately.

In the future when I hear Turnbow I have a feeling I will get the image of a Brewers pennant in my mind. Then, as their getting ready to raise it at Miller Park, Turnbow will fly in and steal it.

Is Turnbow done done? I need to decide whether to cut him loose...don't want to give someone else saves if there is a chance he will return - but I'll get Burgos in his place, otherwise...
