Maybe cuz he thinks the injury might be lingering and since Romo has started Glenn hasn't been targeted very much and he hasn't had aTD since week 4.

I guess I meant 1TD since week 4.

Yeah, I'll probably use him on both of my teams even though I think/hope Dallas will be running a lot against the Colts to take advantage of their bad run D and hopefully keep Manning off the field as much as possible.

It'll be nice fantasy wise if it turned into a shoot out. Won't be good for Dallas though.

1) Glenn was targeted the least number of times all season in Weeks Eight and Nine;
2) He missed Week Ten;
3) The emergence of Patrick Crayton -- he has been targeted at least five times in three of the last five games, and he's had more TDs since Week Five than Glenn.
4) Glenn not only has a quad injury, but he has bone-on-bone irritation under his knee cap that will hamper him the rest of the season.

That doesn't mean that Glenn will be worthless the rest of the season. And he might get back on track this week. It is just less likely that he does.

I didn't know about the bone-on-bone irritation thing. Damn.

I'd go with:

Chad Johnson
Reggie Brown
Doug Gabriel
Chris Henry

Another thing about the Cowboys WRs is that the Colts run defense is so bad that teams prefer to grind out the running game instead of passing. Jones and Barber have done well, so they should be the Cowboys' focus. But the Colts are susceptible to the long pass, so someone should get a TD reception -- it just should be Owens, and Crayton is just is likely as Glenn to do so, so it's a tough call between them.

CIN, NE and PHI all have great match-ups this week.

Give the Raider defense some love. They are a top 15 fantasy defense this year and the past few weeks they have outscored every other defense in every scoring format. The team sucks, but the defense scores points with the best NFL defenses

They are only ranked five spots out of the "top 15" (oooo!).

They have very solid stats in the passing game, but they are very poor against the run. This week, they go against one of the top two RBs in the game. So, they're average (and on the bottom of the average scale this week).

this is the 1st time I can remember the rankings being challenged this much--- I would agree with pretty much everything, different people have their reasons for thinking certain guys might be better plays in particular weeks, but for the most part the rankings are pretty solid

I don't think they deserve any justification either

nice job!

jeff has MIAMI defense ranked #5 as a plus play

PITTS defense ranked #7

I don't know, something I my GUT tells me that this is the week the steeler defense turns things around and I am hoping they will dominate this game

RETURN OF THE STEEL CURTAIN!!!!!!!!!!!

I doubt it.

I have very few problems with jeff's rankings ever, but I do like to hear his reasons for dropping guys and vice versa. thanks jeff,
