Had to play into the hype a little. Everyone's so interested in how Matsuzaka ends up this year, and Greinke's a pretty compelling story in his own right. On the whole, Hudson and Hamels may have been a better overall matchup, but we went with this so I could get some scouting reports up there on Matsuzaka and talk about how Greinke seems to be returning to form. Honestly, Greinke looked really good out there for a kid whose confidence was supposedly shattered a couple of years back. The two combined to allow 2 earned runs (Greinke allowed an unearned run as well) and struck out 17 in 14 innings of work.
