News: The Indians placed Andy Marte on the 15 day DL. He pulled his right hamstring and has been sent back to Cleveland for further evaluation.
Views: Marte has been struggling at the plate with a .179 average along with 1 home run and 8 RBI. This move will put Casey Blake at 3B full time, and move Ryan Garko to 1B full time. Shin-Soo Choo was called up to replace Marte on the roster.
