Baseball Player News: Ryan Langerhans (OF), OAK

News: The Braves traded Ryan Langerhans to be names for a PTBN or cash consideration on Sunday. Langerhans was hitting just 0.64 in 44 at bats as a part-time player for the Braves.

Views: Langerhans started the season as the Braves starting left fielder, but it appears they gave up waiting for him to turn it around. He will serve as the A's new fourth outfielder and likely won't regularly start.

Sad to see him go. Langerhans was good defensively and loved in the clubhouse.
