Baseball Player News: Homer Bailey (SP), CIN

News: Homer Bailey was placed on the minor-league DL with a strained groin on Monday.
Views: This is not a major problem for Bailey, but with so many people watching his progress, they might wonder why he missed a turn in the rotation. The minor-league DL is only seven days, so he should only miss one start. The Louisville manager said that if this were the major leagues, the pitcher would probably just pitch through it, but they aren't going to take that chance with him. |
