News: Peavy improved to 6-1 on the year as he struck out six in six innings of one-run ball in San Diego's 5-1 win over the Chicago Cubs.
Views: Peavy struggled a bit in the first for the second consecutive start, allowing a run to score after a leadoff walk to Alfonso Soriano. From there, he was his typical, dominant self. He continues to strike out hitters at an alarming rate, and has climbed to number two in our starting pitcher rankings. |
