News: Danks won for the third time in a row Tuesday, allowing just three runs (one earned) on seven hits and a walk in six innings of stellar work against the Oakland A's. Though he struck out just one, Danks is starting to reward manager Ozzie Guillen for letting him pitch through his poor start.
Views: Danks came to the White Sox from Texas with a ton of promise, and he's starting to deliver. He's now allowed just six runs (four earned) in nineteen innings in his past three starts while striking out twelve. He has the stuff and the poise to keep this up, and is worth a look if he's hanging around the waiver wire in your league. |
