News: Juan Encarnacion hit safely in his sixth straight game Tuesday, and hit his third home run in his last four games to help St. Louis to a 4-3 win over the Reds.
Views: Encarnacion started the season on the DL, was activated before he was ready and had been playing horribly. He hit just .217 over his first 11 games. But after homers Friday and Sunday, Encarnacion went 2-for-4 Tuesday with this third HR to raise his BA to .246. NL-Only owners may want to watch to see if he continues to improve. |
