Baseball Player News: Ryan Braun (3B), MIL
By: Jeff Brown

News: Ryan Braun hit his third home run of the season Tuesday to help the Brewers defeat the Cubs, 7-5

Views: Braun went 3-for-4 with two RBI Tuesday. Aside from a 3-for-3 game June 1, he had been struggling, having gone 2-for-18 with eight strikeouts since May 30 (.111). Braun just needs to find some consistency and he will be just fine.

Braun has the uncanny ability to hit a jack every day I bench him.

Don't ever start him again.

LOL...I was thinking the same thing.

I was actually born & raised in the Milwaukee area, so I am a Brewers fan too. I am enjoying their success so far this year as much as you. I'm just bummed I have to wait until August to see them at Coors Field.

Cant blame Brewers fans for going crazy about it this year. You guys have been down for a while.

Haha... It just feels great being out of the Bud Selig/Wendy Selig-Prieb ownership. The new owner, Mark Attanasio, is quickly gaining fans. Not only is the payroll up around $70 million (Sorry D-Rays at $24 million, we had to leave you sometime) Attanasio told GM Doug Melvin that he is giving him the ok to acquire more salary if it helps the team. Big thing since we haven't heard that in over 20 years in Milwaukee.
