Prospect material out of Arizona, apparently enjoying his move back to the rotation after being groomed for closing. Someone worth watching. |

he has been the best pitcher in the minors BY FAR so far, the season is young but if EDWIN JACKSON and the other guys at the bottom of the dbacks starting rotation continue to struggle you will see this guy by the all star break

the thing that sucks is that this year yahoo is waiting until a guy plays or pitches one game before they add him. Last year guys like Gallardo, Linc etc were on way before their debut date! |

who else is likely to get called up this year and how does Scherzer compare? We get $125 for the season to bid on players so I'm wondering if I should go for him or wait for someone else. Cueto went for $100 which was by far the highest bid anyone has ever put in. Most of the top prospects like Kershaw, Price, McGee, and Adam Miller are taken already. |

Plenty of call ups coming of course,but at this time nobody is having a season like this guy is having.38k's in 23 innings is damn impressive. |

seems like this happens every time some young phenom gets his first start, but the PHILLIES are smacking scherzer around and he as already given up 4 runs in the first 3 innings
bad defense has hurt him, but he has clearly struggled with control and the phils are really hitting the ball hard |

Scherzer has QUITE the head jerk at the finish of his delivery. Is this violent finish to his delivery good for his future?
