I hate trading Wright but this seems like a hard deal to pass up. I could use the pitching help and UTIL power.

Without seeing the rest of your team I'd go for that deal. |

no...hafner doesnt not help you team in anyway. Bedard and beltre are good but your giving up wright for less power and more ks. if you can get an OF or another SP instead of hafner |

I would take that deal as well. Hafner can't be this bad all season long and Bedard has been pitching real well just lacking the RS. The wins will come because all the other numbers are still there. |

yeah this seems like the blueprint to score pronk while he is down. I would take this deal in a heartbreak and hope wright gets hurt |

we were saying that last season as well, and look what happened...
if you can get another good pitcher instead of hafner, I'd do the deal, but otherwise I'd actually stay put and keep wright. he's in a slump, he'll break out of it. |

wouldn't do it. I don't think Hafner is coming back. I don't know what it is, and this isn't the place to speculate, by I think something is wrong with Pronk. I'd guess that he just peaked in '06 and we shouldn't expect him to return anywhere near that level.
so if you accept that you won't get much out of Hafner, it becomes Beltre, Bedard, and average player for Wright. Bedard, as much as it pains me to say it, is a bit of an injury risk. and beltre is a significant downgrade from Wright. I wouldn't go for it |

Gotta agree, stay away from Pronk unless he's basically being given to you. |
