I saw a guy in last place was having a fire sale (dumping and trading players away....he was panicing being in last place) So I floated him a couple offers....he was desperate for pitching, and I have a couple to spare.
I offered a couple closers like Todd Jones and Fuentes paired with Carlos Quentin (who I picked up a week ago on FA list). He counter offered with Soriano for Jered Weaver strait up..... CLICK, ACCEPT!
Trade completed this morning, I didnt celebrate untill it was final... I thought it was going to get veto'd by the other owners......
