I've heard some discussions lately about changing the All Star game and possibly giving the winner home-ice advantage in the Stanley Cup, similar to what MLB is doing. Personally, I'd rather not see it count for the playoffs. What do you guys think?
I think the teams should decide their own fate so the team witht he best record in the regular season gets home ice, that's how it should always be in all sports(that count) cept football of course.
On another All-Star game note, todays game was maybe the best NHL AS game I've ever seen. It was really cool seeing Heatley playing on the same line with the guy he grew up wanting to be. The Heatley/Jokinen/Jagr line was fun to watch.
