Say It's Seo

I know its a cliche and a trite one at that, but "say it's seo!". Jae Seo, the Mets rookie right hander, has been absolutely dominant as the fifth starter since David Cone went down. He has won his last two starts and is now 3-2, but has pitched much better than his record indicates. In his last three starts, he has shutdown the best offensive and overall team in the NL twice in the Braves, and tonight he pitchd seven innings of one-run ball to beat the hot Seattle Mariners, who came into the game with a nine game win streak. He would be a good pickup right now, although he won't give you a lot of K numbers. He has the best walk ratio in the bigs, though.
Tom Glavine has bone spurs in his left elbow, although the Mets knew about them before they signed him. He was only able to go one inning and let up five runs on Thursday. Glavine, who has never missed a start in his career, may miss his next start.
Mike Bacsik will start on Sunday instead of rookie Aaron Heilman. Once Bacsik gets lit up by the M's, Heilman or Jeremy Griffiths, another talented rookie, should get a start. If Glavine is unable to go, Heilman or Griffiths would start, with the other pitching once Bacsik, who is allergic to the strikeout, is lit up and sent back down.
Mike Stanton and Jay Bell came off the DL today, so Pat Strange and Marco Scutaro were sent down to make room. Strange should be up at some point againt this season.
