Clay Buchholz

News: I'm not sure "cold" does justice to just how awful Buchholz has been so far this season. Buchholz allowed 5 runs on 7 hits and 4 walks in just 3.2 innings of work Sunday. He also allowed three more home runs, and has now given up 10 in just 32+ innings of work. Buchholz has yet to allow fewer than five runs in any of his six starts this season.
Spin:
He just has to be concealing an injury or something at this point. With two starts at home against the A's and Orioles this past week, we had to figure that he would turn it on here if he was going to find himself. He sure didn't... Buchholz ended up allowing 11 runs and walking 9 hitters in just 10 innings against those two squads. There's almost no reason that he should be rostered in standard sized leagues right now. If he is, make sure he's not actually in your active lineup.
