The Chiefs will be on the road against the Cowboys on November 27th. Kickoff is set for 4:30 pm ET.
It will be played in a retractable dome and with the weather not so great, the roof will likely be closed. So, no weather impact.
First opened in the early 70s, Arrowhead Stadium is a classic, open-air stadium that's a treat to play in (and watch a game). Kansas City summers tend to be hot and humid (high 80s) while the winters can get pretty frigid, all the way into the low 20s. Snow and heavy wind chill tend to impact at least a couple games per season. Thankfully for the players, they have a heating system that keeps the field from freezing and nullifies a good deal of the ice. The modern, dominating version of the Chiefs has done an excellent job of taking advantage of those field conditions -- that generally means an edge to the home team when inclement weather kick in.
