First opened in 1997 and recently renovated in 2024, Northwest Stadium is an open-air stadium with soft Bermuda grass. During the season, weather tends to range from the 30s to 70s. Wind is a relatively common thing and can drop the wind chill a good percentage during winter. It will occasionally snow as well, but nothing like the other teams in the NFC East. After September, rain is pretty frequent and Washington offenses always do their best to prioritize ball security. Overall, weather doesn't usually play a big role in the scoring rates seen at Northwest Stadium but can quickly flip a game around when conditions get near the extremes.
