First opened in 2017 and one of the costliest stadiums in the league, Mercedes-Benz Stadium is quite an iconic spot. From its pinwheel retractable roof to the ring-shaped scoreboard, it's a very cool place to watch a game... and play one. The retractable roof keeps it comfortable during those hot, humid Atlanta days. Winters in Atlanta are relatively mild and actually quite comfortable during many late season games. The surface is artificial (FieldTurf CORE) -- that's about the only drawback for players. Otherwise, it's one of the nicest venues across all the major sports.
