MetLife Stadium opened about 15 years ago and is the dual home to the Giants and Jets (the only other stadium that houses two teams is Sofi in LA). With regard to weather, New York has some pretty extreme weather. Early in the season, the Fall season tends to produce weather in the 60s and 70s. That's about as nice as it gets there -- the subsequent weeks eventually dip into the 20 and 30s. With no roof, the wind chill, snow and all elements play a major role in at least a few home games a season. Speaking of wind, the stadium is situated in a spot that attracts heavy winds. They're routinely >25 mph and often swirl, making it difficult to take advantage of the prevailing conditions.
